Well I will begin in duesseldorf, the atmosphere was sedate in this city, seeing a few trinis passing through, giving dey bligh 2 everyone, this was on the 8th, on the 9th ah touch down in dortmund, everywhere there was flags of trinidad, in every bar and every shop window, the german people were very welcoming and receptive to the trinis, well me and my fam, eat something, watch de germany match, with 100 swedes in the bar, after this we make a move to the square with the gigantic screen, end up watching de 4-2 costa rica get, lime dey, real swedes and germans coming up to me and andre, andre link meh in de square wit he padnah, we lime dey till 11:45pm, was taking pics, talking to trini fans, did a interview with the cbc canada, andre and i drink some german beer, it real expensive in europe, too expensive, well we vibes some trinis, on yardman who was dere 2 see tt play on de 10th,then we head to the sixx pm club where jugglers, xcaliber and martin jay were, wait outside ah lil bit see de vibe, then out of the blue lisana liburd show up, he talk wit we, take a few pics and tv6 and ting was dey, it was a nice vibe, lisana look like he needed a drink lol, but say wha, we went in, de vibes started off nice, but went sour, martin jay and xcaliber are sell outs 2 say de least, real reggae vibes dey run in dey, i walk up 2 de promoter and dawg e slaughter and tell dem wat kinda jamaican ting is dis, play tunes for the supporters, jamaica didnt qualify, is tt, dey run soca and calypso a lil after but me and andre was amazed at de bullshit dey was playin, no patriotism and representation, i bun dem fellahs after dat nite, dem cant get my support ever again.
we leave dey about 5am, ah reach home about 6am, went tuh sleep about 7, wake up at 10 and we head down 2 dortmund again, dis time we went 2 limericks, real trinis and real music, no reggae, all calypso and soca, laventille riddim section was present and WN Uk was handing out flyers for the cricket match, real people, nice vibes, meet up wit real wn peeps, then we head to de game, was in de red section, sat next to manfriday,bally, monty and mr mc, monty turn tuh meh and say u iz de trouble man , ah laugh
FF come and check meh and hail meh out and ah see fishs by de bar, when ah tell him who i was, he watch meh harder
well de anthems start, game start and it was tense but this was de bess defensive game ah see de boys play, dey play well but their ball control, possession and dribbling was terrible, shaka ah feel was man of the match in truth, one ting 4 sure we make more noise than sweden 4 sure, dey fail, get real quiet when de final whistle blow, after that was BACHANNAL, we fly back to downtown dortmund and it was pace right thru till 12am, met patriot and jdb, real cool fellahs, jumbie i ent see after ah hail him, but u could see everyone vibe was lifted b ofthe draw, ah think dis is de rise of we football in the future.
after de lime ah head back tuh de hotel and now ah in frankfurth, 2nite machel performing, heading dere for 12am.
