I guess they could put them i a hall of fame or something, but the numbers mandated by FIFA, for this tournament at least, and I'm sure others as well.

Is not like the NBA where man could go and sweat in 99 and 00 and ting

Hear nah......Latas and Yorke is two ledgends......yuh could put them numbers in hall of fame and ting.....buh football doh retire jerseys so?? especially numbers like 10.....is only big players could wear dat!!  Latas and Yorke are names that will be revered....buh allyuh goin overboard like dem ppl who sayin de team should get a trinity cross just for participating. When yuh hand out honours like dat jus so...yuh opening de door to have it hand out fuh anyting.....and in de long run dat just cheapingin the honour.
The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today are Christians who acknowledge Jesus ;with their lips and walk out the door and deny Him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable.

Retiring shirts is not allowed by FIFA. A few years ago argentina tried to retire Maradonnas' shirt and FIFA turned them down.
