If ghana can pull one back i think they have a chance. Brasil defence look weak on set pieces especially. Ronaldinhio stil not performing. kaka best player. Only thing ronaldo can do is shoot and a few tricks now.. when he was running the ghanaian defender nerly got ther..that is saying something.
Come on Ghana uve been unlucky so far keep it up

2nd goal had a hint of offside, but the linesman actually supposed to give the benifit to the attacker.
3rd goal was onside, allyuh just blinded by disappointment

Agreed! the right back for Ghana keep ZR onside for goal number 3. Adriano goal did look very close for me offside by a nose.

Very good performance by Ghana...showed world-class buildup and teamwork...that is without Essien too...only thing missing was the finishing, but they sure deserved to be in Germany. They could have scored almost 5 goals. And, no shame in losing to Brazil.

One positive about playing Brazil is that they force teams to play their absolute best and keep them on their toes for the full game. You really see the potential of a team when they play Brazil. Remember Costa Rica in 2002?

Like Ghana watch a Stern John training video.

Imagine men bawling Ghana play good....

and dey collect 3 and coulda get about 6 in the last 5 min.

See how big side does do it...even when underperforming they will pull out a win.

2nd goal was offside.  On the first pass the fella who ended up scoring the goal (Adriano) was in a offside position, but not the player who the pass was intended for.  That is okay.  But when the same person who was in an offside position before comes back and scores off of the cross (Adriano) , he is influencing the play and so offside must be called.

Ghana did play good man....yes dey collect 3 but they could have had just as much. Real creativity and teamwork in the attacking buildup but lacked it in their finishing. They woulda beat England and France fuh sure.  ;D

Ent, well said JY and TI, doh know wah game some men was watchin nah, Adriano was clearly offside, will listen to what others say and watch de replay of the alleged 3rd goal, runs not confusin nobody here.  Offside calls apart, many calls were questionable, not the 1st time in this cup when an underdog faced an alleged powerhouse where we have seen dis.  Ghana could hold their heads high, they did this w/o Essien, bless

Allyuh agreed with the commentators when they said Brazil were being selfish with their passing in this game, as opposed to the last one?

3rd goal wasn't offside. There was a player on the far side that kept him on.

Brazil was once again unimpressive though...Parreira needs to get his head out of his a$$, and realize that R.Carlos & Cafu are over the hill....Emerson is also killing alot of potential creativity with his clumsy, slow bumbling style of football..

....I live for the day when Trinidad could be unimpressive and waltz to the quarter final of the World Cup scoring 10 goals and only conceding 1......

Would be nice if the coach that directed Brazil to their 5th star could prevent them from getting their 6th, not anti-Brazil by any means, but such un-impressive football at some pt. ought to be punished....

Allyuh men need to join balboa in the studio and cuss out the refs.
On the 2nd goal, Adriano was barely offside, but the linesman had to look past 6 men to see that, which is why I would give him the benefit of the doubt. Especially since FIFA instructions is to give the attacking player the benifit of the call if you not sure.

Also, Adriano got the ball after 2 passes, so the play already went on. It was Kaka -> Cafu -> Adriano -> Goal

i have no problems with the refs, one thing I learn long long time, each ref different, is up to the players to make the adjustment. That is part of the game. Allyuh watching slow motion replays close up and find the ref shoudl be replaying the TIVO in he head to see the same thing.

Ghana really missed Essien today. He could have been the difference. Anyhow, doing just enough to win. If  this Brazilian team ever get it right no one is beating them.
