no hattricks this world cup?
« on: July 05, 2006, 07:08:13 PM »
imagine , with two games left in the 2006 world cup, not a single player has scored at least three goals in a game. when's the last time that happened?it would be a shame.perhaps henry could do it to get he golden boot on sunday.

:o true...I eh even notice dat

either the level of football beetween the big fishs and the minows has closed so much that it may be impossible

too many teams playing defensive strategy

the refs this year just kill the flow

instead of striking , forwards looking to dive first to gain an advantage

no riddim section to' inspire' forwards

me eh know

Good talk.  After all the noise about the 'ball' being one to favor the strikers, no one eh really light-up the world cup.  Ah suppose henry will do it in the final  ;D.

Thats what happens when the majority of teams choose to play one striker :-(

So now that's the final done play, no hat tricks.

However, I would like to award Schweinsteiger with an honorary one considering his free kick bounced off and became a Portuguese own goal.
