Theobald is yet to make a first team appearance for FalkirkMidfielder Densill Theobald is missing from Falkirk's pre-season training camp in Holland because of a knee injury.
The 23-year-old, who has yet to feature since his January transfer, was hurt on World Cup duty for Trinidad & Tobago.
But Trinidad & Tobago veteran Russell Latapy is with the squad as he aims to win a new contract as a player-coach with John Hughes' side.
Meanwhile, two foreign trialists will play in Tuesday's friendly with amateur side Dwingeloo.
Theobald played in all three of Trinidad & Tobago's World Cup group games against Sweden, England and Paraguay.
And manager Hughes told the Daily Record: "He had injections at the Word Cup and has inflammation on his patella so is getting treatment at home.
"It would have been nice if he could have come with us and kept the confidence he has going.
"We knew it would take him time to adjust to Scottish football after coming over at Christmas in the cold weather but I was proud watching him at the World Cup."
