I remember grayie who played for gustine,his brother platto who was noted for his basketball greatness was equally a good football player,some say even better than grayie.

I heard that Brian Lara & Curtley Ambrose are/were decent footballers....

Steve Nash (pro-basketballer), was also a NCAA DIV 1 "soccer" player....his brother played for the Canadian Nat'l team

i also rember when i was a youngster at a criket game in the oval and fastbowler hendy bryan was fielding by the fence (boundary) and the people on the cycling track start ot mamaguy d boy and say HI HENdy...wat kinda name is dat ..i hear yuh sister good wit balls (i think his sister played a sport or so i hope) u good 2???

10 minutes later he caught a man on d boundary turned around faced us and started juggling on his knees the cork ball and said dat answer yuh question??

I know Ato retired from track, so this doh really count for this thread..but he was a boss footballer. I played with him at under 14 level at Fatima before he left for the US. Real talent.

Steve Nash, the pro Canadian NBA player is a decent footballer whose brother actually played with the canadian national team. Anybody who watched the Barca v Red Bulls game would have heard he practiced with the red Bulls recently and even Bruce Arena was impressed

Michael Schumacher can sweat...saw him in a charity match a couple years ago and he real rip.

Rod Stewart doh play another sport but he was apparently a really good baller coming up and coulda turn pro

Julio Iglesias was the Barcelona second string keeper until his career was cut short by injury...Julio flicking Iglesia

OK so the last 2 doh really count, but I figured they were worth posting anyway

Lara eh bad... but the man who was most well known for this is my boy Pedro Collins... he had to choose between the two sports cricket and football which one he wanted to pursue proffesionally...

appearantly he still thinks to this day he could have been a big time baller... i believe so too ive seen him play... solid left winger.

On the reverse also, both Nevilles were youth cricketers and Phil Neville was especially good and had to chose football.

Tallman correct meh if ah wrong, but a read somewhere that Viv holds a world record of sorts for being the only athlete to play 2 sports at World Cup level (although his appearance for Antigua in football was only a qualifier)

How about Charlie Davis, Jeffery De Souza,Sheldon Gomes, Alvin Henderson (all C.I.C) Clem Clarke and Alvin Corneal all rep. Trinidad & Tobago in cricket after football I believe.

Dat is why ah like threads like these, it does bring back memories. Ah remember visiting meh family in Puna, and goin up by honeymoon Savannah, boi dat same Platto and ah man called lester, use tuh make basketball look real simple. Crowd ah youth men on de side lokking at dem every evening. But ah never knew, he was equally good in football.

Keno MASON play cricket for TT and football for QRC.

Michael Grayson play football for TT and run in Juniors sprint for TT.

Kwandwayne Browne, the Pele of hockey worldwide, was a good footballer. He play with Hector Sam up to u-16 at QRC and was the creative midfielder on the side, but then he started playing for the men's national hockey team at 14 so it was really a no-brainer as to which sport to choose.

Allyuh ever notice that men is play the same way no matter what sport they playing? For example, if a man is dribble plenty in football, u know he will dribble plenty in basketball and try to play all kinda fancy shot in cricket ?
