Tough 1st month schedule for 'Pool, but we seem to play up to the big boys, so that may work in our favor.  Hopefully, we can turn around that dismal home from of last year.

Is there a thread for this yet?

Beautiful day here in England and the goals have already been flying in.

Now settling down to watch Spurs v Newcastle. Expecting Newcastle to blowout any team managed by AVB. Anyone notice AVB has gone for a change of image? He swapped the swanky suits at Chelsea to a t-shirt and track pants at Spurs. Still gonna lose.

Will miss seeing the puppet master, Song in the midfield for Arsenal. NOW that team is really not the same.

Demba Ba's goal. . .what a beauty

City is looking very flat and complacent so far. The newly promoted Southampton are leading the champions 2-1 to some very well taken goals.

Once again Chelsea (and Torres) benefit from a dubious call. Phil f**king Dowd again... king of the soft penalty decisions.

City vs QPR.

It is amazing to me that Sean Wright Phillips still is in the EPL and starts games. He stilll does the same shite he has been doing a good 6 years now. He hasn't grown any, has lost speed, still dribbling the ball out of bounds and losing the ball tryin the same lame dribbles. Still frustrating tuh watch. What does he bring to a side? His father must have pictures of Mark Hughes or something.

Lord knows also how Rob Greene still have a job.

Saw this on Yahoo live text of the Newcastle v Aston Villa game today:

" Ciaran Clark scores Villa's 46th Premier League goal by an Irishman, overtaking Wales's 45 goals for the club. Of all non-English nationalities scoring for Villa only Trinidad & Tobago have more - 62.
