Following is what they said “Just the mini-camp for the team in Miami this week will cost $1 million, while the cost of tickets is $450,000. They did not mention the game.

That means we and spending 2400USD person (30) to travel to miami?  This should cost no more thirty thousand (30,000USD) including the guys comming out of the UK.

I worked with teams from UK, Mexico and other countries that have players that played in the WC and none of the requested to travel first class.  It seems as though we are justifying spending money badly, the problem I suspect is bad planning.

They do not need a travel agent, they need good managers and thinkers - that we can offer.

The average cost per ticket should only bea $1000.00 US, even if some tickets
are more, bear in mind that players are also coming from TT and the US and their tickets will be less.

Thus an average of 1000 dllrs per players seems logical.

Factor in travelling to Guat. and double the figure, that's $2000.00 per player....30 ppl....60 000 dollars.

But if everybody travelling F. Class...well what ah could tell yuh.

They would also have to travel on Open Tickets because things changing all the time.
This one can't come so they need a replacement.  Next one coming on another day instead.

One coming all the way from China first class right through.

I doubt they could make these booking much in advance for some players so all the discount fares we used to gone out the window.  Check the price of a first class unrestricted ticket from somewhere like Manchester to Miami first class....do the same for China.

I get something like $3000 on Orbitz for just business class and that is with a whole month in advance for Manchester to Miami.  Switch it to economy class and it went down to $722 and I know that ain't the lowest.

What I have heard here before is that you cah cramp them players in economy when they have to get ready for a game right after....that doesn't come cheap.

hahaha

Maybe we should get them to agree that the class they fly in depends on the result of the previous WCQ.

One thing for sure is that if one flying first ALL flying first this time around....same for economy.

Travel to Guatemala from Miami is between $500. - $700. $72,000.00US is reasonable if you talking about hotels, food, ground transport for the entire trip. IE: USA-----Guatemala-----T&T
