World Cup winger Carlos Edwards has called for Hatters fans to turn out in force for tonight's clash with Colchester United.
There were surprisingly more than 1,000 home seats spare for Saturday's 2-1 win over Crystal Palace – a match that sold out last season.
And Town's Trinidad & Tobago international is urging supporters to attend this evening's encounter and help spur Luton to victory.
He told Luton Today: "Looking out into the crowd there were a few empty seats for some reason and we just hope the fans can turn out in numbers to be fair.
"I don't know why it was and we know it can be difficult for supporters to attend every match.
"It's their decision at the end of the day, but it does make a difference when you have a full crowd behind you and we want as many of them as possible there for the Colchester game."
Edwards knows how important it will be for Luton to maintain their impressive home form if they are to keep pushing at the top of the Championship.
Hatters are unbeaten at Kenilworth Road so far this term and have lost just eight times in 30 months of football when hosting league games.
Edwards said: "It seems like we could beat anyone, even Brazil, when we play at Kenilworth Road.
"We want to be world beaters and we try and play the game the right way and entertain the fans.
"People were writing us off last season and they've done the same again this season, but we love stuffing it back in their faces.
"Now we just need to get our home form into our overall game and start dominating teams away from home as well.
"We will approach the Colchester game just as we do every game and try improve on our last performance and cut out any mistakes we might have made."
