The only thing that I see is incorrect in that report is, Stern never fell out or had any problems with Birmingham. Steve Bruce always felt obligated to Stern and openly stated if was not for Stern goals BCFC wud not have been promoted.Bruce always had a soft spot for Stern and  was willing to offer Stern a 1yr contract every year but #14 wanted to play and only left for de security of a guaranteed 3 yrs contract with Coventry  over a 1 yr contract with Birmingham and being on de bench,which came about when Dwight decided to go to Birmingham.
