Comparing Suriname with Trinidad it is more than 30 times larger but has only 1/3 the population and 1/4 the GDP.

If you compare it with Barbados it's 378 times the size with just twice the population and 3/5 the GDP.

(Figures obtained from Wikipedia which incidently lists our largest city as Chaguanas ???)
