nd minute brought the College of Charleston on level terms (1-1) with the University of New Mexico, but it turned out to be for naught as New Mexico pipped Charleston 3-2.

th minute of the first half, Wacey Benjamin (former St. Benedict's College) curled a free kick from 23 yards into the upper left hand corner of the goal to spark a comeback for University of South Carolina Aiken after being 1-0 down. The Pacers went on to beat Shorter College 3-1.
Curl it like CupidKyle Cupid (former Queens Royal College) scored his second consecutive goal via a free kick in the 59
th minute, but the New York Institute of Technology lost 4-2 to Presbyterian College who scored all of their goals in the first half.

th minute. Hislop stole the ball in the midfield and penetrated North Carolina's defense before rifling a shot from 38-yards out into the lower right corner of the goal and thus claiming a 3-2 win for USC.
Blast it like BrownRyan Brown's (former St. Mary's College) shot from from 20 yards gave Fordham University a 1-0 lead in the 33
rdminute. It looked as though it would have been enough for the victory, but Iona College equalized 11 minutes from time to earn a draw at home.
Beenito's goal a little too lateKeeron Beenito's (former St. Anthony's College) goal in the 88
th minute was only academic as the University of Tampa stumbled to a 2-1 defeat by Rollins University.

th minute to increase his school's lead to 2-0 over Pitt-Johnstown. The final score was Shepherd University 3 Pitt-Johnstown 1.
Roberts score his fourth of the seasonDarryl Roberts opened the scoring in the 19
th minute to propel Liberty University to it's first win over Coastal Carolina in five years. Roberts collected a pass in the box from Toby Lewis and beat the keeper one-on-one with a shot to the right corner. Liberty won the game 2-1.
Edsel Rudder's header sets the toneEdsel Rudder (former Queen's Royal College) scored the first goal of the game for Newberry College on a header from a free kick taken by Debola Ogunseye in the 57
th minute. Coincidentally, Rudder was fouled along the left wing to set up the opportunity. Newberry emerged 2-1 victors over Presbyterian College.
September 18, 2006Chavis Williams earns Athlete of the Week honorsChavis Williams (former Signal Hill Senior Comprehensive), a business management major from Trinidad and Tobago, turned in a solid performance for the Forester soccer squad on the weekend. Williams was an anchor for Huntington’s defense with his consistent play and his intensity on the field. Huntington (3-4-1) will return to action on Sept. 23 at 2:30 p.m. when they host Indiana Wesleyan University in their first conference match of the season.
