Ah have to give Van Persie goal the edge based on the fact that there was a defender close by going for the ball as well to cause a distraction.  Rooney's volley was uncontested but what technique.  WOW.

i feel rooney goal was better...

first he cuss up de referee.... buss ah steups.. den run up and leggo a level bullet/lugerz/vomiter, and that one end up correct in de jep nest... van persie own was kinda roof of de net... but one of the goals of the season for sure...

Wright phillips had a Cornell like attempt at goal on Saturday too when he hit the underside of the crossbar from a very acute angle, that would have been a nice one too!
