The Lander coaching staff and many players did not think the goal counted, as some of them thought that play was stopped due to an apparent substitution. However, the whistle never blew and the goal stood. Lost in the controversy was Benjamin’s impressive goal, which was a beautiful curving shot from 25 yards out that Daum had no chance to get his hands on. Benjamin’s second goal of the season proved to be the game-winner in the 69
