Ince proving doubters wrong
By Mark Buckingham (Sky Sports)

Clayton Ince feels many of the Walsall players have a point to prove this season.

The Saddlers sit atop League Two after summer managerial appointment Richard Money brought in several cast-offs from other clubs.

Ince was among those, having been released by Coventry City, and he has proved to be a revelation between the posts.

He has yet to concede a goal at home in the league and has pinpointed a reason for Walsall's current run of results.

"The manager has ambition and the players he has brought in are players with ambition," Ince told Sky Sports News.

"The players he brought in didn't get opportunities at other clubs, so we're here now to show we still have it in us.

"When we left the other clubs, they missed out on the ability we're showing now."

The Trinidad & Tobago international also praised his defence for their work in helping him to set a club record of nine consecutive clean sheets at home.

He added: "I think it's not just my effort, I think it's a whole team effort.

"We just know one day it will happen (conceding a goal), but we are just keeping our fingers crossed that the goal will stay locked up and we can keep it as long as possible."
The Conquering Lion of Judah shall break every chain.

U think Hector wil play in the FA Cup game on Monday or he really injured?

I doh mind the man stay back to play an important game but if Walsall come with this fake injury excuse again after the fiasco with Ince, them men looking for some trouble...

Walsall's Hector Sam has been granted special dispensation by the Trinidad & Tobago FA to play in the match.

I wonder how many careers have ended in this league....some wild tackles and strange officiating.

Ince did not have much to do and Sam played the first 60 mins
Walsall played with 10 men in the latter part of the second half
0-0 for Walsall playing away to Macclesfield
So return game at home for Walsall (top of league 2 vs bottom of league 2 in ist round FA Cup. By the third round there is chance to meet the big boys

Hector Sam wears the #10 jersey and looks pretty ok and makes some nice assist passes too but the quality of his team mates is kinds suspect dread.

Clayton looking sharp in he outfit. Cyah say much else.

Nice to see two Trini warriors who are clearly seen as the stars in the team. Good publicity :beermug:

Ince distribution with his hands was good...with his feet  :-[

He misjudged a long throw into the box but nothing came of it.

Also looked like he muffed a goal kick that didn't go quite as far as planned  :D  the right back had to come back to get the ball.

Took a cross ball well...made a routine save...dais about it.
Ince opting out of National Team games hurting him more than anything else.  He look okish...hard to tell with the little he did but I doh find he looking too sharp.

Commentator seemed surprised Sam was taken off being as "lively" as he was.  Had a shot on the run that went past the post.  A lot of the balls played to him the defender was all over his back and put him on the floor a few times.

At some point in the game a setta footballs were thrown all over the field...I think some youths ...dat was kicks...look like 40+ balls
