Remember all,

Choose you fetes wisely and even if you coming in from abroad with the big $$$ the all inclusives will go up big time due to the increase in alcho prices.

Sometimes yuh hadda ask yuhself if it worth it to splash out all dat money. Den again is a certain type of people they catering to.

May I recommend Amnesia island people, Fatima, Bishops, QRC and Trinity Soca in the Moka. Beach house Carnival on thursday during the day and Lara on Sun night.

We rating these fetes on Food (eye and mouth)
Entertainment
Location/Venue
Crowd
Drinks
Givaways/promotions

and most importantly Price.

Amnesia Island people is a bess....last year it was 450. Fete start 3pm. I reach 2:45 and I get meh moneys worth..Including a half Johnny Green and Johnny Gold courtesy a smallie in the special scotch bar. Entertainment spot orn, and in any fete yuh must have Machel. If yuh ent have he, consider the fete buss. He is the only soca artiste to put orn a proper "show"

All dem other fete is a setta tantie and uncle who get free company ticket. Dem kinda fete yuh does see mother and father bringing they 21 yr old chirren to.

Lara is a experience, is years I going and I would never forget seeing Halle Berry live and direct about 3 years ago. I move like a good tusty man and stalk her lil bit in the party. I get a "hi" and smile and wave.

For the rest of pay fete.....Go to bachannal Wed, wicked in white, Soca monarch, Machel Alternative Concert, and maybe the eyes wide shut carnival edition.

I does go grudgingly to Girl Power on Carnival fri cause dey ent have no other fete to go to on Carnival fri. Also Dawn is another decent fete to go to instead of Insomnia...same island people fete, same entertainment, different location. lastly Vale breakfast party is a bess fete, not the imitation sunny side up.

But the party of all parties and bess lime for the season.

Panorama in the Savannah.......yuh cyar beat that if yuh use a stick. Never will you get the amount of crowd and good looking people in one spot on dat day. North Stand is a bess.

A for apple, B for Bat, C for yuhself!

If I make the indoor hockey team I can only party up to January 28th since they want to send the team out for most of February. steups The things we do for the love of sport and country. As a hockey man I'm tempted to try Magnolias All Inclusive. Any info on that?

What yuh mean no savannah carnival. How yuh could carnival widout de savannah.  Whey dey planning tuh put it?

"Joan causes ole mas"
http://www.newsday.co.tt/news/0,48182.html

An untimely invitation from David Rudder to patrons at Saturday night's Champs in Concert show to invade the Queen's Park Savannah stage for a "last chance to prance", upset some parents whose children were still parading at the time and, upon reflection, even some patrons who participated in the jump-up.
"Titled "Carnival Come Back Again for The Final Crossing" in recognition of the imminent demolition of the facility"

"In the sum, government's decision to outlaw the savannah as a Carnival 2007 venue, without allowing enough time for identification of a matching temporary template will, by a single stroke, rob the people's festival of several fundamentals which, from both local and tourism perspectives, will negatively impact some of the event's critical aesthetics and perhaps irretrievably diminish Trinidad and Tobago's ranking in the global Carnival pantheon. Whatever you do, do it to the purpose; do it thoroughly, not superficially. Go to the bottom of things. Any thing half done, or half known, is in my mind, neither done nor known at all. Nay, worse, for it often misleads.
