T&T 1 (own goal 41st) v Cuba 0, half time now.

Line-up

1.Jan-Michael Williams, 16.Sean Powers, 5.Osei Telesford, 3.Makan Hislop, 17.Nigel Daniel, 6.Leslie Fitzpatrick, 10.Kerwyn Jemmott, 18.Densill Theobald (capt), 14.Kerry Baptiste, 11.Darryl Roberts, 12.Gary Glasgow.

Approx: 10,000 fans.

Seems T&T had the better half, lets hope the trend continue in the second half. Cuba is also playing some good ball, not a team to fall asleep on. Stay Tuned..

Well ah watching the game on Setanta, so I now logging on...T&T playing decent, but nothing spectacular.. So far the players who really look like dey could take it to de next level is Telesford and the keeper.. Hardest have some nice touches and makes some deadly passes, but he tend to drift out de game....
I am burning de game on DVD so if anyone in the US is interested, PM after the game... I might take some time to respond... Ah really doh feel yuh missing anything great, but I could understand of you want a copy... If they bringing the finals on Setanta I will burn that a DVD also...I have guest so I am now running out at hallf time and will watch the second half when I get home, and will logon after that...

Glasgow not impressing me at all. He not holding up the ball. He not hustling. Maybe he'll score!!!!!

Theobald on the other hand is pretty impressive. Good tackling, positioning, work rate and distribution.

BIG SIDE!!!!!!!!.

Smartest Trini side I've seen in a long time. Forever maybe? It is certainly the MOST organized, thats why its so difficult for Cuba, or anybody to breakthrough and score. Glasgow throway ah sitter. Geezanages man!!! Dat one make mi cuss. Hardest passing is all on the ground and on point..WOW!..

Kudos to WIM. Yuh still have no ideas in attack but at least defensively yuh organize de team.

Very high quality football. T&T and Cuba both looking good.  Cuba very neat, explosive, fast and quite confident. T&T gradually getting more aggressive with the tackles now, double teaming on the wings and looking good.

Roberts: Total class and world cup player for the future
Baptiste: Playing like premiership standard with 10/10 one-time crosses and blistering speed on R wing
Theobald: Borse play and high quality free kicks into the box and stabilizing the defense
Jemmott: borse passes for defense splitting
Telesford: Defensive general. Certified for the future. Plays like he doing this for years, handles crisis well
Jan-Michael: Solid and off his line quick.
Fitzpatrick: Aggressive and all over helping with defense, beautiful Left foot low trajectory crosses, rare bad pass
Daniel: aggressive without being wild
Makan: nothing bad done. Conservative behind the scenes
Glasgow: dangerous, explosive and nippy always thinking something to shit up the defense
Power: outplayed at first but now holding up with double teaming help. Is being targeted in counter

Crowd is dense across the Jean Pierre side up to the corner flags,  scatterd fans behind the posts and patchy in the covered stands. Looks like 12-14 thou. Cuba looking very dangerous and pressing.
