I like that he's sticking by Bardsley, who was obviously laughing at DiCanio's failure and not the club/fans.

Well 3 points last week, very welcome even at this stage of teh season its more about points, depressing already.  Hull away today @ 3.00, Bruce already going on about a mistake to take the Sunderland job because of where he was from etc.  Not really he wasn't sacked because he was a Geordie he was sacked because he was useless, he is right in a way, it was the clubs mistake to give him the job in the 1st place.

Another own goal, keeper injured and subbed and 2 sent off, not a bad first half by our standards.   ;D ;D ;D

Its a very bad sign the gallows humour has started so early into the season.  We never really looked like scoring again even with 11 on the pitch including 3 forwards, usual problem balance and defence.

Well Man City at home today KO 2.05.

No expectation whatsoever with this one, a deal of apprehension though.

Another very welcome 3 points so doesn't look as bad.  Good 1st half performance and hardly touched the ball 2nd half, having said that City didn't really have that many clear cut chances.  No game next week due to international break, have a good week.

Stoke away today @ 3.00.  As usual no real clue as to what will happen, Stoke are struggling a bit aswell so don't expect a thrilling game.  A point or 3 would be very handy and put us back into the mix a bit.  WE are poor in the air at the back (an understatement) so wonder if Kenwyne will play.

Beaten 2-0 but the real talking point was Wes Brown being sent off (no change there this season) however might aswell give in football if that red card is upheld.  To add insult to injury Bergovic caught Fletcher chest high with his studs, no foul no card and was much more dangerous than Browns.  Personally thought just one of those things but cant understand how the ref can see one as dangerous play and not the other, joke.

Kev those kind of decisions even themselves out during the course of a season. Unfortunately for you a third of the season is gone and you're in last place. Focus on the play and not the decisions  ;)

Well Brown got his 3 match ban removed and the ref isn't doing the next 2 lots of prem matches.  Away to Villa today so just have to wait and see if we manage to keep 11 on the pitch.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend

0-0 draw so a point is a good thing and 11 men on the pitch what more can you ask, it was an awful game, Chelsea midweek.

Chelsea at home 7.45 KO no clue, nor expectation so any points will be a bonus.

It would be easier if you didn't score on yourselves.

What about tradition, we don't do things easy  ;D

Not a bad game but again poor defending from a poor defence and sloppy midfield.

Spurs at home KO 5.30 GMT (SNF SS).

Usual not a clue so just have to wait and see after the midweek antics.

West Ham away today @ 3.00.  Its looked bad since teh summer but really need some points todays or it will be looking grim indeed as the gap will grow.  Wonder what it will be today, own goals, sending offs or yet more blatantly wrong refs decision, seems to be that way, but having said all that we are tata.

Have a nice weekend.

0-0 didn't or couldn't take the chance to win depending on your viewpoint.

Good news we managed to keep 11 on the pitch and no own goals, grateful for small mercies.

After yet another own goal.

I forget...

It would be easier if you didn't score on yourselves.

 :banginghead:

Last time I remember scoring so many own goals was in the 15 point season, 3 in one game so seen it before lets hope with a different result this time, but its only hope rather than expectation.

Norwich at home today @ 3.00 really need 3 points to get somewhere near the ones above, also to help persuade the owner its worthwhile investing in January just have to wait and see how it pans out.

A very boring 0-0 that does nothing for us really and a player sent off in the last minute.

On a brighter note I want to wish everyone and their families a very happy christmas and hope Santa is good to all of you.

Everton away today @ 3.00, we always seem to struggle with Everton who are doing very well atm, so no real expectation.  Hope everyone had a nice Christmas.

Ask and ye shall receive   ;)

Well 1-0, penalty and keeper sent off (rightly) strange its usually us playing with 10 men.  Looked the other way around 2nd half and rode our luck a bit, again a change as we haven't exactly had the rub of the green so far this season.  A late present and very grateful for it.
