2-3 1 minute or so to go all goals again poor defending.  Awful game about what I expected tbh.  Onto next week see what delights that brings.

West Brom at home today, like all of last season, one before................... not a clue.  The natives have become increasing restless after last weeks last minute capitulation.,

1-1 draw, played OK then went behind and panic stations.  It was an entertaining game in its own way, a bit like watching 2 packs of dogs chasing a balloon.  A point is better than nothing, back to needing 3 teams to be worse than us this season and its a bit of an ask, roll on January.

Stoke away today an ideal game for the scholars of the beautiful game  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;

See what happens a couple of more injuries so nothing really new to report.

West Ham away today, see what happens as they have been pretty poor.  Always a reason to play us as tend to push that form aside.

Kev, any thoughts on why Moyes took the position? Aside from merely wanting to manage in the PL, are there enough arguments to support it being considered a career-enhancing decision?

Well a 1-0 defeat in the last seconds by a debatable goal but that just how it is atm.  I may add the 1st 30 minutes was as bad as I have seen and trust me through the many years I have seen some tata.   ;D

As the quote doesn't seem to want to work atm, it just keeps "Loading".

After his last couple of jobs I think Moyes maybe regarded as "damaged goods" by some.  I don't think any manager / player thinks joining is a career enhancing decision, I think the money is very good and they don't have to do much for it.  The owner has tried previously to get Moyes so maybe he felt really wanted, it didn't do Allardyce any real harm.  He is honest a little dour and has made a few mistakes in the things he has said to the press, interestingly he and the CEO have been on a charm offensive with the fans this week, going unannounced and uninvited to a supporters group meeting.

Its a strange one, he was far and away the obvious candidate, the only doubt I had was the same as Martin O'Neil a little too late and without his right hand man seemed a shadow of his former self.

He hasn't been dealt a very good hand, a ridiculous amount of injuries and by all accounts he was always very studious / long winded around buying players, he didn't have that luxury in the summer.  We needed at least 4 1st team players, not bodies/ squad fillers or kids.  As above  again we failed to do it and this has been compounded by having to throw them and kids in and "his signings" haven't looked anywhere near up to it.  The jurys out to whether he will be afforded the time, once the fans go the other way it only ends in tears, they have already had "clear the air talks" this week which is never a good sign.  He may not of been dealt a good hand, been a bit unlucky, but I doubt think anybody can argue he hasn't played it very well.  From my side I hope he gets through it, but we have a very old saying in supporting the club "Its the Hope I can't Stand"  ;D ;D ;D

Arsenal at home today early kick off match.  This might get very very messy today.  My hope is for a little bit untidy  ;)

Well it got a bit messy but not that quickly, it was better than I expected, which says a lot given we were beaten 4-1

Bournemouth away today, who knows we might get a point, big might.  The natives aren't happy and sense the mood is about to change if something doesn't on the pitch.

Well a much needed 3 points, how I am not so sure.  A crazy game, Bournemouth on top for 30 minutes scored, then we scored Bournemouth went to pieces.  2nd half Pienaar got sent off, all over the place how Bournemouth didn't score a couple is beyond me.  Penalty and 2-1 victory.  Madness

HUll at home, given the points situation could do with a win and keep them off Hull, have to wait and see.

Away to Liverpool today, a bit like the Arsenal game really, settle for a little untidy rather than a big mess very quickly.

No just bloody mindedness, its the way we are bred unfortunately.

2-0 defeat, Liverpool had all the possession didn't really do a lot with it, cross come shot and a penalty.

Home to last years champions Leicester today, who aren't having a great time atm.  Most neutrals expected a more usual season from this year but worse than thought they would do.  Hopefully we get pick up some points, just have to wait and see.

Well 2-1 win 3 points OK performance but you could see why both teams are struggling atm.

Glad Sunderland get some useful games from Defoe. That off season when he left Toronto was a bit infuriating tbh.

A 1-0 defeat that was probably better than could be expected.

More importantly Bradley was the mascot and had a good time, so alls good.

A very welcome 3 points is the kindest thing you can say.

Next match boxing day.

So I hope everybody gets what they want of the fat man in a red suit, and you and yours have a great and safe Christmas.

As usual be good, if you can't be good be careful and if you can do neither, don't get caught.
