Sunderland v West Brom 12.45 KO GMT

Still no real form as of yet, West Brom are going well so haven't a clue.

Have a nice weekend
Good game all the way through but sunderland's keeper made a terrible mistake.

Showed another slight improvement, gifted 2 goals and the 3rd a very dubious penalty, well it wasn't a penalty.  However I cant really blame the ref for that as at 1st look at the match I thought it was a penalty only after replays its obvious it wasn't.

Still comes back to not enough done in the transfer window another long season ahead.

Sunderland v QPR 7.45 KO

Arry's 1st game as manager, we're still not playing well and the small amount that I have seen of QPR they have been OK.  So could go either way, no doubt a few of their players will be out to impress the manager.

Could happen as any than about 8 it can happen to with bad form and/or injuries, said it long enough not enough done in the summer.

Chelsea tomorrow KO 3.00.

Cattermole out for 2 months (no big deal) Fletcher a doubt.

Anything could happen but play like we did in teh 1st half and will get beat very easily.

Have a nice weeekend.

Played better than the result suggests.

Very poor first 15 minutes or so could of been 3 down instead of 1.  After that it was much better then gifted 2 goals either side of half time, a ridiculous challenge for a penalty and miscontrol in teh penalty area.  Our goal was a mistake by Czech really, he took his hands away thinking it was going wide, he had to make a couple of decent saves hit the bar, so a better performance.

We play Reading Tuesday night which was postponed a while ago due to waterlogged pitch.

Need a few playesr in jan though, its going to be a long season.

Didn't have time to post last night, 3-0 victory OK performance, points are the only thing that matters at the moment.  Very hard run upto Christmas can't see many points coming our way.

Just to let you guys know, Central F.C. received a signed photo from Sunderland and a letter of best wishes.
Very thoughtful, so big up to S.F.C.
(Although the guys down the road at Middlesboro sent a signed pennant and 6 posters!!)

I was expecting ManU to run over Sunderland, but that was not the case. Sunderland started off slowly in the first half, but certainly played well in the second half. ManU’s 1st and last goal were really due to poor defending.

I hope everybody had a nice Christmas and Santa was very good to you. I wish you and yours all the best for the New Year and hope it brings success, happiness and most importantly health.  As always be good (too much rum, as usual  ;D ), if you can't be good be careful, if you can do neither, don't get caught.

Man City today KO 3.00, not a lot to say really, not a lot of expectation either.  Its a drudge this season and hopefully a couple of players this window will help to change it just have to wait and see.

Whooo Hoo, a quiet pint with a wry smile (well smirk tbh).

1st 20 minutes was a bit hair raising after that it was fairly even.  We made the more clear cut chances and should of really sown the game up.  Bit of luck with the goal should of been a foul but Kompany should of also been sent off, so evened itself out.

Mancini doesn't really like us much, very ungracious but what the hell, 3 very welcome and unexpected points, might make it that little bit easier to attract a couple of decent players in January.  Spuds on Saturday.

Sunderland v Spuds 12.45 KO

Early kick off on Sky.  No real expectation today either apart from MON will have them sitting back a bit due to Spuds pace and our complete lack of it.

Have a nice weekend

Not really Bakes if you watched it, missed 2 sitters and another 2 good chances 1st half, gifted you 3 goals with absolute woeful defending (see past comments last few weeks) even a schoolboy team would be embarrassed about, 2nd half was dead, game gone headless chickens.  Stand by what I said before the game, Liverpool are no great shakes and easy to get at as we proved 1st half but failed to take the chances and we aren't that good at making them either.

I watched every minute.  Easy to "get at" you say?  No mention of the two Liverpool goals that were ruled offside, one on Downing's pass to Allen where Downing was ruled to be offside (good call), the other on Johnson's goal (very iffy call, looked even).  Your squad could have been embarrassed off the pitch.  But okay, Liverpool were easy to get at.  As a Reds supporter I thank your side for spotting us 3 goals while displaying an inability to deal with the Liverpool attack then.
