Well another 2 weeks gone and another manager, Allardyce's first match is away to West Brom, so we will see how the players get on.  Not a big surprise last performance as everybody and their dog knew Advocatt was off.

Are you a match? It's too late for Emru, but maybe you can help save someone's life: http://www.healemru.com

Mixed really, considering the farce the club is / has been last couple of years, I thought it would be another nothing appointment like PDC.  I think the prem has/is moving on and needs a different approach than a few years ago.  The team needs a solid defence that is organised, Fat Sam can do that, but he will even struggle given the players available to him, unless we go back to Poyets approach.  We have got away with murder particularly the last 2 seasons and given we have failed again to address the issues this season is no surprise.  I simply have no idea how it is going to pan out as the problems have been obvious, I hope he can sort it out for a season or 2 then move on, by the same token I wouldn't be that shocked if we are on our 3rd manager come Feb.

same ole sunderland  ;D

Don't think we played as well as we did against West Ham, poor goal to give away and didn't really create enough.  The sad thing was West Brom were poor and should of taken advantage, but we have a nasty habit of gifting points.

Newcastle at home today @ 12.00, for many the only 2 matches that matter this season, given the mood, get beat and god forbid if you need to get through to the samaritans, because it will be constantly engaged.  Both teams desperate for the points, just have to wait and see.

kev, you should be happy. Suds up one with a "lucky" penalty. But it is a good match.

3 goals, 3 points thats all you can ask, how is a different matter.  Don't think it was a "lucky" penalty personally thought it was an obvious one, the sending off though was very harsh imho.  Still 2nd best team even against 10 men

Everton away today at 1.30.  We stole 3 points there last season, lets see if it can happen again.  Well you can live in hope.

A truly bizarre game given Allardyce is supposed to be in charge.

15 minutes gone should of been 2 up and in charge.  Everton score go to pieces and then another, we score just before half time against all the play and equalise shortly after break.  Then an avalanche of poor goals and still had a few more chances to score.  I think Allardyce is a triffid.

I don't think I've ever seen big Sam hold his head in his hands like he did after the tackle that gave away the penalty. If nothing else he's definitely got to earn his paycheck this time around.

Similar to Southampton, only we had the slightly better of it and a bad mistake for our goal, makes a change from us.  Welcome 3 points boy did we need them.

Tried to log on last week but the site was down, but a very welcome and much needed 3 points, who knew?

Arsenal away today so no expectation whatsoever.

Have a nice weekend.

Well a 3-1 defeat no change, but it was a strange game as the last few, lots of forward players because of a couple of injuries, but really could and should of got something from the match.  A more pleasing performance so see if we can keep it up.

Watford at home today, who have had a much better start than us (didn't everybody  ;) ), really need the 3 points and just as importantly keep points away from Watford.  You would think it was nearing the end of the season already, buts its not even Christmas.

1-0 defeat, it was cold and a grind in a nothing match, feeling my age me thinks, as the saying goes, don't let the bar stewards grind you down.

Chelsea away today, a sentence on BBC sport made me chuckle earlier in the week before Jose went,  "At this Saturday home to fellow strugglers Sunderland" Well just have to wait and see what happens, should be interesting viewing either way.

From the time i saw the Sunderland starting line up, it was clear that Big Sam wasnt interested in getting a result in today

Well I was right it was fun, the only surprise was how long before they scored.

From the time i saw the Sunderland starting line up, it was clear that Big Sam wasnt interested in getting a result in today

tbf thats all he has a few injuries doesn't help, but I have had the feeling the last few weeks that he is just trying anything and making a point hoping it will make a difference for transfer window.  We will have to wait and see.  Can't really complain because should of gone last 3 times in reality.

Liverpool tonight so haven't a clue, not watched a lot of football lately but their results seem to be a bit up and down????

I would like to wish everyone a happy new year and hope you all have a great 2016.  Please remember, be good, failing that be careful, if you can do neither don't get caught.

Villa at home today, could be a defining game depending on the transfer window.  As usual not a clue haven't seen Villa at all so just have to wait and see, its an achievement in its own right to have less points than us.   ;D

Happy New Year  :beermug: :beermug: :beermug: :beermug:
