James and St. Louis to tryout for Seattle Sounders
By Nigel "Tallman" Myers

Former T&T national youth team members, defender Machel James and forward Stefan St. Louis, have been invited to to the Seattle Sounders Invitational Tryout in Las Vegas from December 18-20. Approximately 70 players will be showcasing their skills at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus in the hopes of catching the eyes of the Sounders' technical staff.

Additionally, an invitation has been extended to the two Oakland University players to take part in the 2010 InfoSports Pro Soccer Combine which will be held at the Seminole County Sports Training Center in Sanford, Florida from January 6-8, 2010.

According to InfoSport's website:
Participants will be paced through training sessions, small-sided and full-field games by an unparalleled professional coaching staff headed by Daryl Shore, current assistant with the Chicago Fire (MLS).

The scouting reports and player profile data for each player are made available to EVERY professional soccer team around the world through InfoSport's well-visted web site. The list of invited guests includes pro coaches, general managers, scouts and agents from around the world. Coaches from MLS, USL, MISL, other professional leagues and international teams are always in attendance to scout and evaluate players.

Draft-eligible college seniors, pro soccer veterans and qualified free agents seeking contracts in the MLS, USL, MISL, or any international league, may attend InfoSport's Pro Soccer Combine.

The data that is collected on each combine participant is paired with that individual's comprehensive soccer resume and written combine scouting report, to provide each player with the most comprehensive and credible written tools to market their soccer talents. These player reports are then made available by InfoSport to all MLS, USL and MISL teams.

Hey Tallman,

Whatever happened to these guys in this tryout for the Seattle Sounders. Do you have any updates. Did they tryout for the Infosports MLS combine as well.

Hey Tallman,

They said that the tryout for the Seattle Sounders was a great experience and they hope that their effort did not go unnoticed.

Only Stefan attended the Infosport combine, which is different from the MLS combine.

They may also attend the USL Men’s Player Showcase in Charleston, South Carolina on February 4th.
