Coventry pre-season

Rushden 2-1 Coventry City

Ince was stretchered off after 15 minutes against Rushden
Rushden & Diamonds beat Coventry City 2-1 in a bad-tempered clash marred by an injury to experienced Sky Blues goalkeeper Clayton Ince.
Ince was stretchered off with suspected broken ribs after a challenge by Rushden striker Drewe Broughton.

Rushden took the lead when Greg Pearson scored from close range but Coventry equalised when Stern John headed home trialist Paul Watson's cross.

A draw looked likely until City's Rob Page put through his own net late on.

Ince, 33, only joined Coventry at the start of July.

The Trinidad and Tobago international had been released by Crewe Alexandra after six years at Gresty road.

Depends on the way you look at it..its either good news or bad news.

But at least Stern finally score  ;D

It was just a matter of time. Form is temporary.

X-Ray show it not as bad as previously taught.Bruised ribs and fluid in the lungs.Recovery time expected to be shorter.
It is amazing as soon as a little fire light up under John ass he's start performing.Dis is why he should have been on de bench for dat last game against Colombia because he look like a player as soon as he feels comfortable with a situation he's play sh!t.Dem type a players de coach as have to be in their face.
Finally Coventry ain't have any reserve keeper.John and Ince should put in a word for Durance like what Shaka did for Jack.
