Bumper 2007 season to be launched at Crowne Plaza

The 2007 TT Pro League season will be officially launched on Wednesday 11, 2007 at the Festival Ballroom, Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts, Port of Spain from 6 p.m.
The TT Pro League is promising a 2007 season that will surpass all expectations. New innovations and some exciting revelations will be made.
According to the League’s Chief Executive Dexter Skeene this coming year will be like no other, “The 2007 season promises to be as exciting as usual, but this year even more so, as we have a very strong line up of teams, there is a new team to be announced that will be competing this year and they will add another dimension making the league even more competitive than ever before. There will be a few new innovations this season and I assure you no one team will walk away with all the silverware.”
“In addition we will be taking steps to bring the football to the people, local fans can look forward to live coverage of matches, and this year the video streaming of matches on the League’s website will also take effect, and a lot more exciting announcements will be made at the opening ceremony,” said Mr. Skeene.
The season will kick off on the field of play on April 14, 2007 with the defending champions Joe Public FC up against the 2006 Toyota Classic United Petrotrin at the Larry Gomes Stadium and that game will be preceded by a big clash between Caledonia AIA and San Juan Jabloteh.
There is another exciting double header at the Hasely Crawford stadium where Defence Force will oppose the 2006 Caribbean Champions W Connection and Superstar Rangers will open their 2007 campaign against the new kids on the block
While across in Tobago, Tobago united will entertain North East Stars at the Dwight Yorke Stadium
