Mexican football association fined CHF 750,000

As a result of the inquiry opened against the Mexican football association on 15 July 2005 regarding its conduct during the FIFA Confederations Cup Germany 2005, the FIFA Disciplinary Committee pronounced the following sanctions:
1.  Mexican football association: a fine of CHF 750,000 and a reprimand
2. José Alberto de la Torre, president of the Mexican football association: a fine of CHF 20,000 and a reprimand
3. Dr José Luis Serrano, national team doctor: a fine of CHF 5,000 and a reprimand
4. Dr Nicolas Zarur, chairman of the Mexican football association's medical committee: a ban from any kind of football activity or any link with football for a period of two years
5. The costs of the proceedings (CHF 15,000) will be borne as follows:
- 2/3 of the amount by the Mexican football association
- the remaining 1/3 by Dr Nicolas Zarur

These decisions were reached after hearing each of the following persons separately in Zurich today:

José Alberto de la Torre, president of the Mexican football association
Decio de María Serrano, general secretary of the Mexican football association
Ricardo La Volpe, national team coach
Alberto Martinez, national team administrator
Dr José Luis Serrano, national team doctor:
Guillermo Cañedo, witness
Dr Nicolas Zarur, chairman of the Mexican football association's medical committee
Dr Jorge Alejandro Gama, doctor in charge of the doping tests for the Mexican football association's medical committee
Aaron Galindo, player
Salvador Carmona, player

Appeals may be lodged against these decisions in conformity with the FIFA Disciplinary Code (cf.second title, chapter II, section 3: http://www.fifa.com/en/organisation/legal/chamber/0,1489,2,00.html)

The results of the FIFA Confederations Cup Germany 2005 have consequently been upheld and remain unchanged.

Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the Mexican football association to reach a final decision on the doping cases involving the players, Aaron Galindo and Salvador Carmona.

daiz serious to ban a man form he wuk for 2 yrs.  what exactly they do wrong>? I thought it was the mexicans ketch the fellaz dopin and not fifa.  I taught fifa woulda be rewardin the mexican federation instead of punishing them.
