steups...dem men making excuses already........
Dida and Maldini are strugling to be fit for this game. They both did not play on the weekend.
That being said, Kaka got a needed rest this weekend, and it was his birthday yesterday
No doubt, he will be fresh for Tuesday
Gilardinho will be also be back from suspension to bolster the attack
Despite Man U's defence problems, tomorrow will not be a pushover. I looking forward to a good game
some info from
www.acmilan.comThe Old Trafford is the kind of stadium that dreams are made out of and this Tuesday's Champions League semi-final with Milan should offer just the kind of excitement that fans can really get behind. After the 3-1 Serie A win over Cagliari the Rossoneri can now focus on their next move in the Champions League in good heart. The Red Devils promise to be worthy opponents, but Milan aren't the kind of club that would want anything less. The stadium will be full to its 74,000 capacity, but this isn't anything new for the Rossoneri. In fact, Milan lifted the Champions League 2003 title there and so they certainly know what it takes and how to win at the Old Trafford.
Alex Ferguson's side shows no signs of letting up and Manchester United have already won 28 of their last 29 Champions League home games. This year has been nothing less than impressive in the English side's European journey and they have already defeated Celtic, Copenhagen, Benfica, Lille and Roma.
This will be Milan's eleventh European semi-final and out of those they progressed to the final on two occasions. It is the eighth semi-final for the Red Devils and they have also made it to the final twice with the last negative result for the English side five years ago when they were eliminated by Bayer Leverkusen.
All in all, Manchester have a strong record against Italian sides with a total of eight victories, two draws and only two defeats. One of those two sides to impose a victory over Manchester United was Milan in 2004/05 with a goal by Hernan Crespo on 78 minutes.
