Redknapp to plead trio's case.

Harry Redknapp will make a personal appeal for Trinidad & Tobago starlets Lester Peltier, Khaleem Hyland and Atullah Guerra to secure work permits. The trio impressed while on trial with the South Coast side and have been offered deals to stay permanently with Pompey, but one major stumbling block remains.
Work permits are required for any non-EU players to play in England, and, as yet, the trio are awaiting a verdict from the Football Review Panel to begin their careers in the country.
Agents Paul Mohamed and Steve Davies of DMC Sports Management, who brokered the deals, are confident their clients will be given the nod, although other avenues are available should a negative result be delivered.
German outfit Hertha Berlin and Dutch outfit Ajax have shown an interest in the trio and may revive their interest should the players fail to win their fight to play in England.
"We have been informed by Work Permits UK that leave to appeal to the Football Review Panel has been granted," Mohamed told skysports.com.
"We expect the panel to be convened sometime next month when Harry Redknapp and Paul Hart will attend to plead the case for the players.
"We are confident of a positive verdict given the undoubted talent of the three players.
"In fact all three are currently in a training camp with the Trinidad & Tobago National squad in preparation for the Concacaf Gold Cup in the USA next month.
"All three players are delighted at the prospect of joining a progressive Premiership club such as Portsmouth and working with people of the calibre of Paul Hart (director of youth) and Harry Redknapp.
"They enjoyed their time with the club earlier this year and are keen to build a career in English football.
"Given their talent and the confidence Portsmouth have in them I don't think it will be long before any of them appear in the first team."
