Basically it says T&T arrived with a group of 'junior' players. Wim is quoted saying there is a dispute between the federation and foreign based so he is coming with locals only.

La Selección de Trinidad y Tobago arribó ayer al país con un equipo plagado de jugadores juveniles.
El entrenador de los trinitarios, Wilhelmus Rijsbergen, dijo que su equipo de juveniles buscará tomar experiencia ante los hondureños.

Afirmó que conoce poco de Honduras. “Tiene buen equipo, para nosotros es un gran amistoso porque nos servirá para medir lo que podemos hacer en la Copa de Oro”.

Rijsbergen fue asistente de Leo Beenhakker en la Selección de Trinidad y Tobago durante el pasado Mundial Alemania 2006. Agregó que conoce a algunos hondureños pero no quiso decir de quiénes. “Ésa es una información que prefiero reservármela para mí y mis jugadores”.

Nivel
La Selección de Trinidad y Tobago viene de ganarle 2-1 a la Selección sub 23 de México y considera que no hay mucha diferencia entre el fútbol catracho y el mexicano.

“Es muy parecido porque los jugadores de Honduras tienen buena técnica y físicamente están muy bien dotados, siempre le ponen mucho temperamento, el nivel está muy cerca”.

El técnico de la selección caribeña afirmó que vienen con un equipo renovado con respecto al que participó en el Mundial.

“En este momento sólo tenemos un equipo local porque no podemos contar con los que participan en el extranjero. Es un equipo joven con un promedio de edad de 22 a 23 años”.

Rijsbergen dijo que eso se debe a un problema de organización. “Hay un problema entre la federación y los jugadores que juegan en el extranjero y por ello sólo iremos a la Copa de Oro con jugadores locales. Yo quería llevar a todos los jugadores pero es imposible hasta que se solucione ese problema”.

El equipo de Trinidad y Tobago llegó ayer a las 5.00 pm al aeropuerto Ramón Villeda Morales en vuelo de American Airlines.

Migración
Luego de pasar por los trámites migratorios, los integrantes de la escuadra caribeña abandonaron el aeropuerto a las 6.15 pm.

En el hotel
Se registraron a las 6.40 pm en el Hotel Intercontinental y a las 8.00 pm hicieron trabajos regenerativos en la piscina.


 Los seleccionados caribeños mientras esperaban en la sala de migración que revisaran sus documentos.

Hoy
9.00 am
Desayunarán los jugadores de Trinidad y Tobago en el hotel, luego descansarán y analizarán videos.

3.00 pm
El equipo caribeño tiene previsto entrenar en el estadio Morazán, no se informó si lo harán a puertas cerradas.

Yuh know when KND post that itinerary of the national team players the night before and day of one of the crucial WC Qualifiers back in 2005 (when Cyd Gray was tiefing pommerac by Whitley house before the game and Birchall steal all the action from Dwight and Latas in Zen), nobody ask him if he was an official team member.....
