went there for my wedding anniversary.
Buenos Aires appealed to the photographer in me. Would have loved to stay longer, there was a LOT to see and do. I wanted to head inland as well but time was not on our side. We did and saw as much as we could in the city - even took a tango class - giggled like kids, real sweet.

As a tourist, it was fun, did tours, very alive place all hours of the day and night.
But I sensed the undercurrent of poverty and inequity. We spoke briefly about moving there but realized quickly we would probably not be happy.
Bland food, expensive, surprisingly dirty, sidewalks downright dangerous. Loads of police presence in certain areas, vagrants galore.
It was a trip of a lifetime and I can tick it off my to-do list.
Now it is time to hint around for our next destination so that the mister thinks t was his idea... ;D
