I came up on this article entitled: Little Guadeloupe on a knife's edgehttp://www.fifa.com/confederationcup/news/newsid=535207.html#little+guadeloupe+knifes+edgeThe article states that: Former French international Jocelyn Angloma, who played over 400 times for top European clubs and represented France at UEFA EURO 1992 and 1996, came out of international retirement to lead the side in the regional qualifying tournament. The 41 year-old former Inter Milan and Valencia winger (now moved to the centre of midfield) curled in an 85th-minute free kick goal to hand the Guadeloupeans a 2-1 win over favourites Cuba that propelled them into a qualifying semi-final position.Maybe I don't understand the rule, but how could Angloma who represent France at the natioanla level qualify to play for Guadeloupe? Granted that Guadeloupe is not a FIFA member. Can some one explain?[/quote when i read dis it make me smile...LATAPY for 2010
So next gold cup, suppose we see Henry, Anelka and and older Zidane running out for Guadelupe...And Seon Power warming up on the other end for T&T.....I could just see the look on the T&T supporters faces.....
