Section 6. Corruption
Article 62 [only]
1. Anyone who offers, promises or grants an unjustified advantage to
a body of FIFA, a match official, a player or an offi cial on behalf of
himself or a third party in an attempt to incite it or him to violate the
regulations of FIFA will be sanctioned:
a) with a fi ne of at least CHF 10,000,
b) with a ban on taking part in any football-related activity, and
c) with a ban on entering any stadium.
2. Passive corruption (soliciting, being promised or accepting an unjustifi
ed advantage) will be sanctioned in the same manner.
3. In serious cases and in the case of repetition, sanction 1b) may be
pronounced for life.
4. In any case, the body will order the confiscation of the assets involved
in committing the infringement. These assets will be used for football
development programmes.

After taking a read of this one would think that Jack Warner and his Simpauls Travels assets should have been seized and as a compromise to the players it should be distributed to cover the promised bonuses.

It is an interesting read indeed. I think in this age of globalisation, we are all better educated with the information that is there for us, as opposed to the scandal of Nov 19th 1989 USA game.

you forget to list Rule #5

5) Subsequent to, forthwith and fifthwith, the above rules do not in any way apply to any VP or other Officers of FIFA.
so they are free to scrooge all who represent, play for or work under said Officers of FIFA.
