Think FSC has a pre-show at 2:30....

I think the Americans will take it...just a wild guess- they are in better form than Mexcio...Mexico hasn't won on U.S. soil in a while....and as a fan of neither team, I don't have the energy to give it more thought than that... ;D

yeah, I feel Mexico about to get a cut-ass.

The narrowish field in Chicago might benefit Mexico more than the US. Allow for them to use their close control.
The US will probably try to play lots of pressure. Plenty running.

Onweyu looking real clumsy.
The US looking to play on the break, Theyt playing a high back line too, to compress the field and keep the pressure up.
The backs can keep pace with Mexico though, Is not as if Borgetti is a speed demon.

Borgetti Injured. Look like he hyperextend the knee.
The men on Fox acting like he get beats, but the replay clearly show he just step funny.
Omar Bravo on for Borgetti.

Mexico break the drought on goals against the USA.
We'll see if they can hold on for the win.

That Fielhaber dude have to get bench.
Beasley and Donovan doing well.
I'd like to see Eddie Johnson on in the 2nd.

Typical USA vs Mexico game

Mexico more technically skilled, better possession. And you can see the hungry for this game

Castillo is a Uruguayan. Sanchez has a pure pro-Mexican stance, and he dropped all the non-Mexico born...except this fella. The Mexican public loves him and Sanchez selected him purely under pressure and benched him right thru. The Mexican press was on his a$$ about that especially as Mexico was looking poor this cup. Sanchez started him today knowing that if he lost, he could get fired..especially after ignoring pleas to play on of Mexico's best players.

Anyway..like I said, typical US vs Mexico, except Mexico got the breakthrough that they have been missing in recent encounters in the US. Anyone who has watched these two play know that Mexico always has the better of possession, better chances, but the US always hits them on the break and always has brilliant goalkeeping and defense to help them. This defense, with Onyewu, Spector and Bornstein a little to inexperienced..they struggling bad.

In the attack, Beasly looking like the US' best player. He and Bornstein look good on the left. Nothing else going on for them.

Mexico more than deserve their lead.
Hope the US can improve in the 2nd half. Mexicans has the most arrogant team in Concacaf and they are not good sports at all. Hugo Sanchez is a nasty fella too. I used to like them as they used to rep Concacaf good. But lately I make out how they look down on everyone. Make the US look positively saint-like, Cyah stand to see them win anything now

Go TnT!!!

Good game for the neutral...... Strange that Bradley left out Hejduk for this game. One of the better right backs in concacaf in my opinion

Quite biased commentary coming through on FSC. If you listen to this commentary without watching the game, you'd believe that Mexico was under real pressure and just managed to get on against the break...

Anyways- good game..Mexico the more fun team to watch

Fair score in my opinion.

If the U.S. can get Johnson in early enough, I think he can make a difference.
