Argentina should have this under lock. But they will be feeling a little pressure as the clear tournament favorites and they are experimenting with a new formation. At the same time..this is a USA C squad. Even a USA A squad could get a nice blowout if this Argentina squad have a lil' chemistry. It could be embarassing. Then again...this is football. Remember a jokey US squad hit Argentina 3 without reply some years ago in the Copa America.... :-\

Lightning doh really strike twice like dat tho'

A feel this Argentina squad will be scarily good

Argentina 2 - USA 1

Argentinans can be an arrogant bunch (not all but some). A man from Argentina once hit me- Maradona was the best in the world but only one of the best in Argentina. That was not the sole basis of my opinion that Argentinans arrogant but just further evidence.

Based on the squads on paper...I will say 4 - 1 to Argentina  :beermug: ..But based on BooSA never give up attitude and most likely playing defensive..I will say 2 - 1 to Argentina  ;D

USA choose the players to play in this tournament very wisely. Some of the roster are guys that played for the futsal team and also at one point or the other in South America. They choose to be the team they could be for this tournament. It was a calculated act.

Intersting. I looked at the roster and there are some names I know very little about. But I don't really see what you're hinting at. Which ones played in SA or on the national futsal team

wuh happen to maxi rodrigues

He had a bad injury this season cruciate ligament I think...back in Oct/Nov and was supposed to be out for like 6 mths- not sure if he ever bounced back to full fitness.

He was also fined and suspended for 2 Copa games after fighting with a German player in the WC fracas.....

so between fitness & his ban he pretty much ruled himself out of selection for this tourney...

correk meh if ah talk shite, but I'm pretty sure that is the deal with him....

USA don't ever get blowout....they may get outplayed but one of their keepers will always keep the score respectable if they losing.

They are always competitive. The score will be closer than people think.

2-1 Argentina.

You might be right, but this is a weakened U.S. team, and a very stong (stronger than average) Argentina team...Germany hit U.S. 3-0 b4 the W.cup....I won't be surprised to see similar occurences tonight.
