Alex Ferguson have to be given every respect as one of the greatest managers in football history. He has built several teams which have been successful, showed tactical variation and adaptation, makes good buys  and  has managed to consistently be a contender in CL.

Boss coach and Manager

He's a living legend- best in the business in my lifetime so far.

Something about longevity with one club makes it more special as well...

Guardiola can also be a candidate down the road if he sticks with Barca and continues to have success there particularly because Barca like Man U grooms a fair amount of youth talent from their academies.

it would be real nice for one of our National coaches to go and train with either of them for a while. I was watching some of the Barca training videos on youtube... AMAZING....  and amazing what they are capable of...

This year's Man U team has to be one of the most well coached in my living memory. I have to give jack he jacket, the team selections, rotation and tactics this year have been spot on. Managing through the Rooney situation, when to play Chicharito vs Berbatov, moving Giggs into the middle against certain teams, when to play Park etc, using Valencia for the late season surge all came off good at opportune times.

Ah mean to squeeze so much juice out of what is essentially to a man a bunch of average - good players with no true world class talent (Rooney/Vidic aside) is a feat in itself.

Too bad Chelsea going and snatch first place on goal difference this weekend, win out the league and then Barca going to beat them up in the final leaving them with nothing to show for it.

Chelsea may very well upset the table on Sunday, but knowing them this season, I eh go count on a victory against Everton at Goodison on the last day of the season...

The length of his tenure will be legendary. God willing, he will make 25 years this year and to want to stay at United for so long is a statement, that in his opinion, there is no better place to be. That is a compliment to the club.

Also turning around the club's fortunes after the Djemba Djemba years when it looked like Arsenal and Chelsea had gone clear and people were calling for his head. To win 3 titles back to back and a Champions League and now to have the team this consistent in the CL is a fantastic achievement.

And nobody even mentions the fact that he was able to take Aberdeen to a European win over Madrid and to win 3 Scottish titles when nobody wins in Scotland other than Rangers and Celtic. The man is just a boss.
THE WARRIORS WILL NOT BE DENIED.

Lol, come nah man Elan... Rooney clattered into David Luiz by accident and get ah yellow, Ivanovic stud Rooney on he ankle after the ball had gone and... nutten.  I think Webb is right to give the fact that it would be a second yellow heavy consideration in not booking him... buy yuh cyah say that man being biased against Chelsea here.

Not suprised we are losing, Utd have looked better than us in every game we've played this season (other than 30 mins in the league match at Stamford Bridge).

Poor subs by Ancelotti at half time. Bringing on Alex for Luis is pointless, obviously due to a personal squabble rather than a tactical decision.

Wha'ppen no ticket tuh dis game or wha'?

But yeah, the bolded seems about right to me... Ancellotti was screaming at him from the bench about the Chicharito goal, and yuh could see Luiz mouthing back "Not me".  Luiz did have a couple adventurous moments in the first half though, and coming on the heels of Ancellotti's statements in the week that Luiz can be "too optimistic" at times... yuh could smell dat one coming a mile away.

----------------

Elan look Lampard now get away with ah clear handball in the box... like Webb trying tuh get back in yuh graces (and off yuh signature) or what? lol

Just as I was starting to think that Chelsea isn't even trying to make this interesting.....

On another note, Chicharito have real speed dread... never realized he was that quick.

Man U came out the blocks too fast for Chelsea, and really should have buried this game beyond doubt on numerous occasions.  The game actually wasn't as close as the scoreline suggests...
