Kicker watch how tight the ManU retreating line was, no way a keeper was getting through that to get there first. Rio was caught on the wrong side, plain and simple .

Another question mark for the keeper? perhaps?...

In all fairness it looked similar to Messi's shot that beat VDS in the CL final - not far away from the keeper but the power, bend and dip was enough...

2-0 flatters Man City..

Evra again.

Evra again.

Teams always run that play against Evra. Cut inside and they slide the ball in that direction. I have no idea where his head does be sometimes.

De Gea will hold his own. Carrick is the friggin problem if you ask me. He love the sideways and backwards pass-the man know how tuh kill a run.

He was slow to react to the shot is what the issue might be....but it's quite possible that the pace may have fooled him just as much as, if not more than, the movement.

Keeper was too slow to react, like he wasn't expecting Dzeko to leggo de lion..  He will be telling himself he coulda done better with that.

First goal too, it was a great delivery into the box.. But even if De Gea wasn't going to get there he could still come hard enough he might have put off Lescott.

He will have to learn to be aggressive on aerial balls in this league and he will have to learn fast.

Men being harsh on d manu 'keeper on de first goal. Dinho. He will do just finme on the aerial balls as he proved on the cross he came out to collect. Early on....what we does have to remember (and give credit for) is the quality of the ball played into the box. A ball that is whipped into the box (in all kinda direction with in/outswing) will give GK's and defences far more trouble than the ones floated in. Manu's 1st goal is a prime example, too. Anytime you have defenders back-pedalling and you put the ball just where the 'keeper may struggle to get to it, is problems fuh everybody.  2-2. Game on.

Real impressed by the play of Young and Wellbeck... all preseason.  Naive goalkeeping by De Gea on that second goal... but great response by Utd to climb back.  That Nani goal look like Arsenal draw it up.  City need to get Silva more involved.

Maybe the ball they using in the EPL different than the one De Gea was use to in La Liga. Love how hungry and versatile these young players are for United. Should be a fun season.
