Real impressed by the play of Young and Wellbeck... all preseason.  Naive goalkeeping by De Gea on that second goal... but great response by Utd to climb back.  That Nani goal look like Arsenal draw it up.  City need to get Silva more involved.

Silva moving rel Lazy. Mancini should have taken him off instead. I don't think Mancinin ready, they should be comfortable in this game after having been 2-0 up.

I love me some Nani! EPL player  of the year for this new season-calling it now! Youth will be served. I love when we play uptempo and speed-none of this plodding/deliberate shite we have been playing the past seasons after Ronaldo left!

Exactly, De Jong should have came in to see that ball away. If he missed then He had cover for the 2nd tackle from Kompany.

Clichy yuh mean... just rewind and watch the play again, Clichy did nothing to help out his fellow defender there, he was jogging back casually assuming Kompany would always come for it.  Lack of familiarity probably factored in there.

Dat ball was Kompany's ball to lose and he lost it. He  was supposed to BOOTS de HELL outta dat ball, no matter what any other defender around him was or wasn't doing. He seemed to take it for granted that nani was going to pull up and not come hard. Is Balotelli fault...his "casual" play is spreading in the team.

Nani been doing real good especially in light of how Man Utd fans had waste him down as not being a good enough replacement for CR. I think right now he is more dynamic than CR was when he left Man Utd. However he will have a long season if Smalling is behind him.

I always like his ethic and he's one of the most skillful men in that league. Is a real shame how he had to come on and get exposed in the final against Messi.

Where would he boot it? When he realised that Clichy eh coming to win that ball he had no way to boot that ball other than into Nani. He could have tackled stronger, but the way the whistle been blowing it may have ended up being a red card. 1v2 in the back is always dangerous.

Actually Nani's decision making has been questioned, it is oposition fans that were calling him Cr lite or wanna be. I think once he realized what he needed to do to be successful on the field he became more effective. The game against Arsenal when he beet Nasir and Clichy in the corner and scored was a turnning point for him. I have said he needs to start in front of Valencia and Young. He is the most skillful player on the side and now he is making better choices. He also works hard when he doesn't have the ball which Ronaldo doesn't do.

Actually, ah now see de replay...ah was being harsh on de man (maybe because he did snub Chelsea) but it was a mixup between de two ah dem....It look more like clichy had pull off from de ball (which he shouldn't have) which suggest that maybe kompany had call him off....communication mix up, my bad.

You have time.

Especially since he was already on a yellow and had received a stern warning earlier from Dowd.  Hard boots was ricocheting dat straight off Nani and backwards towards Hart.  Clichy took himself out of the play... the least he shoulda do was put a body on Nani to shield the ball for Kompany to clear.  At that rate it eh look like he plan on unseating Kolarov this season.

Cleverley is the man change this game for Man U.

That is why I find they should let Cleverley and Anderson get they minutes this year and let Sneijder rock so. But I hear a Dutch correspondent say he talk to Sneijder and is just details they haggling over now.

The team look good. Very impressed with the preseason and how Ferguson letting everybody get minutes.

Most impressive player other than Nani was probably Smalling. Was as good as expected on defence and completely outplay Kolarov and Clichy. The touch for the goal was good too. PLus on preseason he score a real striker's goal that get disallowed. It looking like he stepping up even more from the improvement he had last year. Late on he make a run and cut back and had Clichy sliding. In general he show no fear on the ball, Rafael spot in serious danger.

The first half play where Nani backheel to Welbeck and Welbeck flick it back and receive the return pass was bess. Welbeck need to realize that he make the squad already and start taking his shots.
THE WARRIORS WILL NOT BE DENIED.
