Quote
What will be of concern to everyone at the club this evening was the ease with which Olympiakos handled the defending Premier League champions. There are two types of footballing humiliation: one is the loss by several goals, a type of thrashing that can be oddly cathartic, the other is a slow, painful subsidence, the equivalent of having your face gently, firmly pressed into the sand.

The latter was what Manchester United suffered tonight, and there is little or no comfort to be drawn from this result.

So how come nobody eh saying how SAF toots down heself with this selection. I find he getting a huge pass by the media. If Moyes was successful they would have been blowing him so hard he coulda sail up the Irish sea.

I think he will be gone before the end of the season. Moyes was never my choice for United and still isn't as we needed a big name name coach to have that dynamic effect on the team. With that said he was handed an average team that at best is nothing more than a 4th place finisher and there isn't anything he could to make it better. What he needed to do to challenge himself was to bring in an entirely new staff where he would have had new and different perspectives from those he had at Everton.

Under all the the ole talk, most want Moyes gone because of his lack of success. But are there any 'well respected' coaches that can come in and restore order. Not only to win, but to gain the respect of the locker room.

I think they can get a well respected and highly valued coach in, but it going to cost. Come summer time, every selling club with great talent will be praying ManU come around so they could make some money. ManU in a real tough negotiating spot, with or without Moyes in charge, and every team and agent will be looking to take advantage of their "desperation".

"The removal of Moyes is not just a football necessity, it is a business must. Man United is one of the world’s most successful, commercially astute football businesses, but it is all predicated on playing attractive, entertaining and crucially, winning football.

Something for the Moyes Boo Boys to consider.

Going Behind: Was there a warning sign for Manchester United?
5 Added Minutes.com

One of the defining features of Sir Alex Ferguson’s final title-winning season at Manchester United was his team’s ability to win matches from losing positions. They found themselves behind on 16 occasions in 2012-13, and took 29 points from these games.

Whilst Ferguson was undoubtedly a master of late and come-from-behind victories, you have the question the sustainability of winning games in this nature so often.

Looking at Premier League teams from the start of the 2006-07 season, unsurprisingly we see that most teams will find themselves behind in games as often as they were the previous season.

Latest Rumor:  Dream team of Van Gaal and de Boer, if the skid continues under Moyes.

This signing by Ferguson is his equivalent to signing Bebe.

This would be a great move, as both coaches are well respected. The one hurdle is that Fergie eh go sign off on this deal.

Things moving past Fergie. The bottom line is $$$. I heard de Boer comment about this recently and he was frank as could be ... said he wasn't ready.
