Actually, a smaller motivation is to keep us informed on what else is happening in international cricket, but that was only a minor perk.
Sri Lanka eventually declared on 451/6 when Sangakarra got to 200. After a 48 run opening stand from Bangladesh the collapse started and they finished day 2 on 69/4. At least they made more that their first innings. I wonder if they can make it to 100.
