T&T Under 15's take lead in 56 minute

T&T 1 - Suriname 0 a glancing header scored by Bateau in 56 minute. From what i am hearing on 105.1 fm T&T are creating many chances but are shooting straight at the keeper/wide...also some dubious off-side calls by the Asst refs.

Good points though after a goal-less 1st half that seemed evenly matched T&T has begun to dominate are appear camped out in Suriname's half.

We play Guatemala in the semis on Thursday at 7:00pm. Once again the game will be carried live on 105.1fm so the foreign-based crew could follow online at home View T&T.

After both teams struggled to come to terms in the first half, defender Sheldon Bateau guided his header past Suriname’s goalkeeper Romario Funkel in the 56th minute and, in the 80th, Mark Rivers sent his right-side centre to fellow substitute Franz Husbands to tap home from close range. Rosendo Dharson pulled one back for Suriname in the 89th minute, weaving his way through the defence and shooting past keeper Jesse Fullerton. Final score (2-1) T&T now faces Guatemala tomorrow at the Hasley Crawford Stadium, a double header clash, with Jamaica facing the winner of the Canada/Netherlands Antilles match.
