Does anybody remember Trinidad beating Argentina in the Pan Am Games in 1967?
I think we won a medal and Alvin Corneal was one of the players.

When Raffie Knowles used to report the news, it was just unbelievable. We beat Argentina and came back from 2 down to beat Colombia. Gerry Brown, Bert Grell, Victor Gamaldo and Lincoln who are living in the Wash. area described the feeling in that tournament. They said it was just great. It is unfortunate that they did not have Youtube videos in those days. TT football has had great moments. But those high points take too long to come. 1967(Panam games), then 1973(Haiti WC), then(1989) that sad day in Nov., Then Bahrain 2005(Oh Happy Day!!!!!!!). Let's hope we can make it to SA.
