Kenwyne on de bench. So Brent could feel free to hard tackle and dish blade without hesitation. Hopefully he make his case by the time KJ come on.

Sparta Rotterdam 2-2 Swansea City

Swansea City ended their pre-season tour of the Netherlands with a commendable draw against Dutch first division side Sparta Rotterdam.
The Swans suffered an early set-back when Iderlindo Mereno Friere scored for hosts after just seven minutes.

But two goals in three minutes from Daryl Duffy and Leon Britton put the Swans ahead just before the half-hour.

Sparta hit back 12 minutes into the second half through Darryl Roberts, who then had a shot cleared off the line.

Earlier, Duffy had a golden chance to grab his second when he raced clear from the halfway line, but a heavy touch allowed goalkeeper David Loriya to smother his chip.

Sparta ended the match with 10 men after Sani Kaita was sent off after picking up his second yellow card five minutes from time.

Swansea's final pre-season friendly will be against Spanish top flight side Levante on Sunday at the Liberty Stadium.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sparta Rotterdam: Loriya, Adeleye, Schenkel, Polak, Boukhari (capt), Slot, Kaita, Emnes, Roberts, Promes, Moreno Freire.
Subs: Bueren, Bouaouzan, Gudde, Jaggy, Vlug, Dissels, Varkevisser, John.

Swansea City: De Vries, Rangel, Painter, Tate (capt), Lawrence, Britton, Pratley, Bodde, Robinson, Scotland, Duffy.
Subs: Anderson, Bauza, Austin, Morgan, Allen, Evans
