The Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation will stage an official pre-game affair at Jean Pierre Complex, Mucurapo, ahead of the June 1 T&T/England friendly international, at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.
Scores of English supporters are scheduled to arrive in T&T next week ahead of the much-anticipated match-up, dubbed "A Score to Settle".
The pre-game show starts at noon and will feature local dishes, steel pan, tassa, Kes the Band, Maximus Dan and Shurwayne Winchester. There will also be monitors at the venue to broadcast the match for those fans who were unable to secure tickets to the game.
Limited $100 advance tickets for the pre-match show are on sale at Francis Fashion outlets in Port of Spain, Trincity Mall and Gulf City Shopping Mall.
"We think it's an excellent opportunity for fans to come together to enjoy the pre-match build up and it will also present fans who were not fortunate enough to secure match tickets to still be part of the euphoria on that day by enjoying the vibes mere metres away from the match itself," according to the T&TFF marketing department. Already, English fans have expressed an interest in attending this event.
"We booked our tickets out to Trinidad once we saw the game being announced and we really want to get as much in before and after the game. We will definitely spend our time at any kind of events leading up to the game.
"And there are a couple of our friends who haven't yet got their tickets so at least there's another option now. We are just excited to be out to Trinidad," English fan Molly Butcher wrote in an e-mail to the T&TFF.
