What's up with Osei Telesford? He started off the season on the bench for the Fire, got injured and has not played for the Fire for the rest of the season. This youth seemed to be a promising defender... Wherever he is or whatever he is doing I hope he bounces back. We need quality defenders.

Don't they play a home and away series?...or is it just this one game?

NE won 1-0
Saw that...was wondering if there wasn't an away leg to be played as well (such as Chicago's earlier series agains DC)...but I just confirmed that NE are indeed thru to the final.  Sounds like Avery had an active gave in defense for NE as well.

just back from the game... Avery had a good one. Had Blanco and Wanchope in check. Blanco was complaining about some of his tackles... like he get flash backs form Ansil Elcock.

Twellman score a bicycle kick... lucky he was not called for a high foot.

Well Done Avery. Hopefully Scott Sealy and KC win on Sat and we will see 2 Trinis in Action

The MLS cup has a weird format. First matchup (conference semis) is a home and away, second matchup (conference final) is a one off, just like the cup final.

Unless Stern win it back in the day and the format was different I doh think we ever had a MLS cup winner. Avery and the Revolution loss two straight finals; first one to the Galaxy but he didn't play because he had come home to play against Bahrain, and last year they loss to the Dynamo on penalties.
