Eto'o Cleared To Play Again

Samuel Eto'o has been given the green light to play for Barcelona again and will be available to Frank Rijkaard for the final four games of the current year.

The Cameroonian striker has been out of action with a knee injury since August and has been sorely missed by the Blaugrana, but now he is ready to return.

After coming back from a knock last term too early, Eto'o was prepared to remain patient this season and that has paid dividends as club doctor's are confident he is completely fit.

Eto'o damaged his meniscus just two minutes after coming on as a substitute in the Joan Gamper freindly with Inter on August 28 and has been battling back ever since.

Now he has been told that he is clear to play and will be available to Rijkaard for this weekend's encounter with Deportivo La Coruña in Camp Nou.

The forward's return will be a major boost for Rijkaard as Thierry Henry is currently laid low with a back and groin injury.

Barça's first team are due to return to training on Tuesday evening and Eto'o will join them for his first full session for over three months.
