Balotelli caught throwing darts
March 27, 2011
By Harry Harris, Football Correspondent

Manchester City are to hold a meeting on Monday to discuss Mario Balotelli's disciplinary issues after he was caught throwing darts from a first-floor window.

Balotelli said in The People that he threw the darts in the direction of youth players because he was "bored". Nobody was hurt during the incident and ESPNsoccernet has been informed that the club view the incident as a misguided prank rather than a serious transgression.

However, Balotelli has continued to attract negative press since leaving Inter in the summer and was fined two weeks' wages for his dismissal in the Europa League game against Dynamo Kiev. Roberto Mancini held the forward responsible for City's failure to overturn the 2-0 deficit from the first leg and described his actions as "stupid".

ESPNsoccernet understands that Mancini was not aware of this latest incident on Sunday morning as he had been away from the club, but there was due to be a conversation between the board and the manager on Monday to bring him up to speed.

A club spokesman said: "The matter will be dealt with internally."

So now who was asking about the "dumb things" that he does?
"Donovan was excellent. We knew he was a good player, but he really didn't do anything wrong in the whole game and made it difficult for us."

Ballo could be good but will never get a chance to shine or even play because of his disgusting and unwarranted cocky attitude .... no where near one of the best players in the epl

Premier League - Balotelli saves boy from bullying

Tue, 10 May 11:32:00 2011

The Sun reports that the Italian striker was asked for an autograph by the young fan at City's training ground, but turned the tables on the lad by asking him why he was playing truant from school.
The boy explained that he was absent because he was being bullied - sparking an incredible reaction from the 20-year-old superstar.

The City ace drove the boy and his mother to the school and demanded to speak to both the headmaster and the bully, during which he apparently mediated as the two boys buried their differences.

The unlikely knight in shining armour - who has hit the headlines all season for a string of on- and off-pitch controversies - then made the pair shake hands before he sped off in his Maserati.

"Mario feels strongly about bullying and thinks it's out of order, " a source told the paper.

"He had no qualms about sorting the mess out as he felt the lad should not be missing out on school."

Mario Balotelli caught trying to sneak into women’s prison

Official Spoiler mascot and crown prince of shenanigans, Mario Balotelli, is back!

After lying low for a while, convalescing from recent knee surgery (pre-operation hijinks? Expect nothing less.), Super Mario has bounded back into the headlines by trying to stage a prison break INTO a women’s jail.

Mario and his 17-year-old brother Enock were arrested in the Italian city of Brescia, near Milan, and questioned for half an hour on Friday after deciding, out of curiosity, to have a wander around the grounds of an all-female clink.

Says prison screw Calogero Lo Presti:

We saw a high-powered Mercedes coupé come through the gate with two lads on board, and after a few minutes we realised Balotelli was one of them.

They were questioned for 30 minutes to get their details and by the end both were frightened. Balotelli said he was sorry. They said they had seen the gate was open, and went in without knowing that you need special permission to visit a jail.

They added they were specially curious at the fact it was a women’s prison.

Not for the first time: brilliant.

well apparently in today's game, once he realize he was not going on, he left the bench and stormed down the tunnel. Ah well!

The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today are Christians who acknowledge Jesus ;with their lips and walk out the door and deny Him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable.

That showed such an utter lack of common sense.  Preseason or not, these English teams come to the US (and travel to the the Far East) on 'goodwill' tours... goodwill meaning they hope fans feel "good" enough about seeing the team that they become interested enough to spend money on team paraphernalia, or even become fans.

What he did is disrespectful to the opposition, whether he score or doh score.  Okay, we know MLS ent up to EPL standards but dat is showing utter contempt for them fellas out there who giving honest effort for L.A.  It also disrespectful to fans who have to pay out a pretty penny (especially in these times) to see a man disrespect yuh club like that and to show you that he out there for his enjoyment, not for yours.

Lost in all of that is the quality of the pass by Silva... and secondly, the type of discord things like this threatens in the locker room.  I would really be surprised if this yute ever get another call up to the Azurri, carrying on like this.  I now starting to see for myself (after defending him tooth and nail) why some Italian fans doh like him.
