Felt sorry for Ethiopia. They were enterprising and strung together several attractive sequences. They suffered for lacking composure and making some predictable decisions on the passing. Burkina set the place alight and will grow in confidence, but cyah put dem as winners yet.

Hear TnT getting dis Africa CAF on tv or anything back home?

Because ah go tell yuh what, I feel young and upcoming footballers (or even seasoned vets) could get some kinda inspiration from watching all dem African (who look just like dem:)) ballers doing all kinda thing on de field.

Maybe I'm way off but maybe watching somebody like 'marasmee' Pitroipa doing he ting might inspire brothas to take it to another level.

I done, I just blabbing now:)

Ah hear yuh. It was kinda surreal fuh me too ... it did resonate with me also.

Gervinho scores a nice goal to complete a fluid move by the Ivorians against Tunisia.

The commentator describes Gervinho as "the talismanic Gervinho" lol. I eh know about all dat.

Nice goal all the same.

Big match for Bafana Bafana about to kick off vs. Morocco.

I hope that the South African fans do not abandon their team if the going gets tough.

And now that loyalty and support is about to be tested.

1-0 to Morocco.

I viewed the other game. Congrats to Cape Verde. I can see why Sir Alex and Manucho parted ways.

It's a good thing South Africa got that equalizer to make it 2-2, or they would have been eliminated. Cape Verde has played well enough to advance to the quarters so congrats to them. It is also good for the profile of the tournament that the host country is still in it.

Really enjoyed the game today, best game so far in my opinion. Good goals, passionate play and a full stadium. Also SA staying in this guarantees more full stadiums at least for one more round which helps the atmosphere.

Easiest thing fuh you in NY would be www.espn3.com ... especially if yuh watching from a desktop or laptop. Last week games were running at 10 and 1 but because we're at the final game of the group stage, both games are being played simultaneously due to not wanting team's conspiring on results.

Lefty suggests this link: http://lsh.streamhunter.eu/ and on the previous page jahkingdom posted another link. Check them. Iz a nice vibe.

Ethiopia is a squad with about 3 players ... unfortunately one of them is injured. Mentally they seem naive. Fuad should have been given more of a chance in this tournament.

Big Upset?

Indeed! Especially since I felt IvC had the better of the exchange. Is it possible to have too much talent? This generation ending with nothing to show for it. Respectfully, they have been in finals, so in that sense they were successful, however, no Trophy for their efforts.
