He was supposed to have a concert at the Fillmore Miami Beach earlier this month, but it was postponed for some reason.

People selling out de Garden long time, especially dem rock bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rush, U2 etc.  Bob Marley played before a sell out crowd jes before he dead when he opened for de Commodores.

Yeah is the theatre where they normally hold the boxing events to the fore of the Arena...just past the Knicks team store.  I was supposed to go to this show but I'll pass.

Last year was even bigger and better...Minshall did the stage design and they put on ah whole production.  From all accounts this year's was less Trinidad meets Broadway...and more of ah fete vibes.

yeah, same thing this year...ah 8 pm and ah midnight show.  Last year was he 25th year in de business so they went all out.  I vex ah miss dat, from all accounts it was boss.  Ah went de after party in de city dat Sunday though...real nice scene, even if kinda highbrow.

nice to see trini represent but once again we show our small minded-ness...
this year's show (from what I hear/see) was basically brass fest on 34th st.
I went to the original show last year and it was fantastic !!!
This year it seems the folks involved just tried to cash in, but sacrificed on the quality & production.
If they were smart they would try to get the ACTUAL GARDEN space and have a well promoted, highly produced show. That would take soca to the nex level fuh sure !!!
