CONCACAF and English FA stage Level 3 coaching course.

CONCACAF, in partnership with the English FA, will host the FA’s Level 3 Coaching Course at the Dr Joao Havelange Centre of Excellence, Macoya starting this Friday from 8:30am
 
Some 31 participants from 15 countries in the region will take part in the nine day course which will have FA Coaches Mick Hennigan and Andrew Poole as the tutors.
 
Among the coaches attending will before former Jamaican international and current Assistant coach Theodore Whitmore and from Trinidad the likes of Kester Lendore. Corbin Cooper, William Thomas, Bertille Beard, Sean Cooper and Denyse Arneaud will be among the participants which will also come from the United States, Mexico, Haiti, St Lucia, Guyana, Grenada, Dominica St Kitts/Nevis, Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Belize, Barbados and Antigua/Barbuda.
 
The Course will comprise tutorial sessions complemented by audio-visual presentations and practical sessions, including techniques demonstrations, skills practice, small-sided games and phases of play.
 
Topics to be covered include:

Field skills including passing, support, dribbling, ball control and movement; Positional skills including goalkeeping, defending, attacking and shooting; Crossing and finishing; Learning and Coaching styles; Coaching Planning and
Preparation and Strategies and Tactics.
 
The Course will conclude with written and oral examinations and practical assessments. Successful students will be presented with an FA Level 3 certificate. Students who achieve an A grade pass may then be recommended for progression onto The FA-run UEFA “A” License conducted and assessed in England. Those students who do not pass the assessments or achieve a B or C grade will be given feedback on areas for improvement before they can be considered suitable for progression onto the UEFA “A” License.
 
Hennigan is a vastly experienced coach holding the UEFA “A”  License and delivers courses for The FA as a Coach Educator nationally and internationally. He played professionally in England, South Africa, Australia and the Republic of Ireland before turning to coaching and managing youth and semi-professional teams in England. He was Youth Academy Director at Sheffield Wednesday and then progressed to be First Team coach at Leeds United under Manager Howard Wilkinson with whom he won the league title in 1991-2 season. Hennigan has also worked as a scout for the England Under-21 team.

Poole is also an experienced FA Coach Educator and currently Regional Coach Development Manager for the West Midlands. He holds the UEFA “A” Licence and supports a number of Coach Development initiatives in Charter Standard clubs, Schools, In Service Training, Coaches Association events within his region. Andy is also a FA Goalkeeping Tutor delivering L1, L2 and L3 courses.

How come them does give out information today for tomorrow? They does have they ppl already or what? Stueps.

Ok....... I read it now and see that they do have their ppl.
