Congrats and Good Luck to Jamal.
You guys mentioned that we need more defenders getting contracts is right on time. We need to get some of our local defenders contract abroad. Only forwards are getting favored. Forwards alone don't make up a team. The other point made was that there is football in other Euro nations than England. France, Portugal, Spain, Holland are other options. The only thing is that they have to be willing to learn the language.

Gay went on trial with a second division Turkish team in January and must have failed to make the cut.  There has been no news on him since then.  He will probably be released by Oberhausen this summer

Jamal Gay RWO should leave by the summer. The sooner the better, says the sports management at the player who is currently in trial practice at the Turkish club.

There is no news on the whereabouts of Jamal Gay in Turkey. After the second division Probetraining Dardanelspor he should not have played to yet another in a local second division. "But we are more wisssen not," said the athletic director Günter Bruns. "Should he go back to Oberhausen, he can mittrainieren until season's end and that's it," is for RWO ends the chapter.

RWO Now the fans can decide what they hear in the stadium. RWO looking for the Top 5 hits. Who wants to join, send an email with his personal top 5 hits to RWO Media Relations Daniel Mucha (mucha@rwo-online.de). The deadline for the first home match against FC Augsburg is Wednesday 20 January, 18 clock. Subsequently, the proposals will be evaluated and the ranking list on www.rwo-online.de published. That should happen once a month from now.

But whey the ass is this

I must say I wasn't too impressed with him during the U20 World Cup. Hope he continues to develop and become a solid fixture in the front line for T&T.

T&T trialist, Jamal Gay, turns heads

T&T trialist turns heads
By Asif Hossain (torontofc.ca)

Jamal Gay’s preseason debut for Toronto FC was a positive development for the Reds in Thursday's 3-2 loss to Houston.

The 22-year old Trinidad and Tobago international proved to be an effective target man with his sensible hold up play. He showed an ability to use his size against physically imposing Houston defenders – who had their way with a skilled but small Toronto lineup when the Reds rotated in the second half.

The striker’s strong first impression doesn’t come as a surprise to Inshan "Flex" Mohammed, the man behind socawarriors.net, an interactive fan site dedicated to all things T&T football.

“Jamal is athletic and a good all round player,” said Mohammed. “He is tall, capable of running at defenders, scoring headers and making challenges.”

Toronto has been starved for a big striker since Danny Dichio, now the coach of the senior Toronto FC Academy team, retired from playing in 2009. This is where Mohammed believes Gay could be of use to Toronto.

“I believe he will be a good target man for Toronto (if he makes the squad). Sort of like Kenwyne Jones for Stoke.”

Comparing Gay (pictured on the right) to his fellow countryman that’s an established English Premier League striker may be premature, but he is on show and early returns have been agreeable. The new Toronto style demanded by head coach Aron Winter requires athleticism and technical ability, which works in Gay’s favour.

Gay certainly fits the bill in an area of the Toronto lineup that require attention, but is he the man to permanently fill the void? That’s one of many questions that will be answered as preseason continues.

The Conquering Lion of Judah shall break every chain.

Aaron Winter and Bob de Klerk coachin TFC.  That kind of guidance would be good for Gay.
I hope they sign him.
