at least someone is making an effort to get to the real nuts and bolts of developing talent in England. Hoddle making some sense here.

Look no further than France made a decision that their football clubs can only sign 20 players.
Now players brought through from the clubs youth development do not count as a signing (now I not 100% sure, it may be French players do not count in the signing)
So clubs were forced to develop players & their was room for them to learn the trade.

its only england that has a problem with "too many foreigners" as the reason for not succeeding internationally yet ther were 4 "english" sides in the semis of champs league this year

simply ask yourself how many english players play in other leagues?????

therein you will find the answer

just not good enough at home and certainly not enough good ones abroad

want to play pro football go where ever you need to go

Just a thought but England also did not qualify for WC 1994. The league had very little foreigners then, so who took the blame then?
